Echo and Gracie had the opportunity to have their photos taken at Heart Spot Studios in Braselton, Georgia recently. I just got the photos back today and am overly pleased with how the photos turned out! Tracey, the owner and photographer at Heart Spot Studios, was wonderful with the dogs. I knew going in that Gracie would be a little more difficult, but Gracie instantly took to Tracey and kept wanting to to come over to her to be petted! Tracey got some really great photos of Gracie. I was worried that she would be too stressed and look upset for the photos, but that was definitely not the case! I have shared a few of the photos in the slide show below:
Please check out Heart Spots website to see more of Tracey’s beautiful work!

What an awesome collection of photos to be able to cherish for years to come! Thanks for sharing them! I can’t wait to see you soon at BlogPaws! Perhaps I’ll get to take some glamour shots of your pup(s) (not sure if you’re bringing both) while we’re together!

Thank you! We are looking forward to BlogPaws! I think I am bringing Echo and our new addition Yoshi. Gracie doesn’t do well at those type of events. She’d rather stay home with my husband!

These photos are absolutely stunning! What a great idea to have a photo shoot like this for your dogs! I’ve never made the investment, but wished a thousand times that I had.

I love the way your pets were allowed to be themselves…even in the “posed” photos their personalities shone through the lens of the camera…great memories to have!

These are great shots. In my head, I say oh no, it’s too much money or not worth it to get my pets photographed, but I see these and think that it’s absolutely worth it! Their lives are short, so it would nice to have quality pictures of them.

Wonderful photos! I’ve always wanted to have some professional photographs made of the girls, but they would be too stressed to take them to a studio. Maybe one day I can get some made at home.

What amazing photos, capturing them both and their personalities beautifully. It is so funny how one can be a ham for the camera (that was our Harley and sounds like your Echo) and another is somewhat avoidant (that was our Shasta and sounds like your Gracie). Your photographer did a terrific job getting them both to look totally relaxed and loving their session!

I’m so glad you have these gorgeous images of Gracie and Echo! A good pet photographer can really make all the difference for a dog who may normally be uncomfortable with strangers and cameras.

These photos came out great! I love the holiday photos, especially of the one with Gracie waving her paw. I love a professional pet photos shoot, I just wish I could afford them more often.

Really lovely photos- clearly a talented photographer. Both dogs look beautiful. It’s so fun getting studio shots of dogs. Kilo loves getting his photo taken at home in a studio set up as it means treats but I don’t think I could take him to an actual studio with strangers. He did meet the Dogist (photographer) once in a park at a rescue fundraiser and much to my surprise, posed very briefly and seemed to like him right away but he was on leash and still anxious.

Yes! She was great!
Gracie just wanted the photographer to pet her, but Echo wanted to be in all the pictures! LOL

The photos are all gorgeous. Such beautiful dogs! I kind of just want to rub all over their fuzzy ears! I especially like the portraits with the darker backdrop. I would love to have Bernie and Lizzie photographed in a studio with optimal lighting for moments like these. Wonderful inspiration here!

I hope that one of these days I’ll have a chance to get some professional photos of my baby. I don’t really want to put her through unnecessary stress, though. So there is a dilemma.

Gracie ended up really liking the photographer! I was worried about her being stressed, but she just kept wanting to go to the photographer for pets!

Lovely photos. I especially like the ones with light and dark backgrounds. They both really pop (and look extra adorable) against the simple background.

They’re lovely! I especially like the ones taken against the black background. Now to find enough places to hang them haha.
