Natural Balance Limited Ingredient dental treats review

As you may remember, I am working on improving Gracie’s dental health. One way to help keep plaque off your dog’s teeth is to use dental treats. Natural Balance’s line of Limited Ingredient dental treats are grain free and only have 6 ingredients! Gracie and Echo tried out Natural Balance’s Dental Chews Limited Ingredient Treats with Duck Meal.

What we liked about the treats:

Both dogs happily ate the treats. The dental chews did take them a few minutes to chew up. Echo carried his dental treat around for a little while before completely eating it.

I really like that these dental treats are grain free and have limited ingredients, especially since Echo can have sensitive stomach and I try to keep Gracie on a strict diet due to her Epilepsy.

Things I might like to change about these treats:

Overall, I think that Natural Balance’s Limited Ingredient Dental Chews are a wonderful dental chew product. I would consider them to be above average in the category of dental treat products. The only thing I would like to see is more variety in protein options. I have met many dogs that are allergic to both duck and chicken. I also prefer to feed Gracie lamb or beef. Natural Balance does have a dental chew that does not have any meat in it, however it is not Limited Ingredient.

Thanks for reading!
