Answers Raw Goat Milk Review

Echo and Gracie had the pleasure of trying Answers Raw Goat milk this week! I wanted to share with you the benefits of raw goat milk for your dog and what Echo and Gracie thought of the milk.image2

Why give your dog raw goat milk? Raw goat milk is a natural source of probiotics and is easily digestible. Even many dogs with sensitive stomachs and digestive issues can handle raw goat’s milk. Raw goat milk is also packed with nutrients like vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, trace elements, enzymes, protein, and fatty acids. Raw goat milk can also help your dog with several different chronic conditions, such as liver disease, kidney disease, kidney stones, diabetes, GI disease, brain and nerve disorders, and heart disease. Answers also adds in honey and organic cinnamon to their goat milk, which can help with inflammation and allergies.

What did Echo and Gracie think of the raw goat milk? I was unsure of how they would react to the milk since I had never given them any kind of liquid besides water. I was mostly expecting Echo to like it since he likes everything, but Gracie was a little more of a wild card. She ended up loving the milk! She even licked her bowl clean and went over to see if Echo left any in his bowl. Not only was it good for them, but it was a yummy treat too!

Answers has various nutritious raw products for both dogs and cats. You can check out more of their products on their website here. If you missed my post on the benefits of feeding your dog a raw diet and Gracie’s switch to raw, check it out here.

We encourage our readers to support small businesses by shopping local. I get Echo and Gracie’s raw goat milk from our local pet boutique, The Puppy Pantry. Many pet boutiques offer comparable prices to those you find online (plus you don’t have to pay shipping costs AND you get to talk to someone with product knowledge when you shop in store.) Answers offers a store finder on their website to help you discover local businesses who sell their products!

Have you ever tried raw goat milk with your dog? Tell us about your experience in the comments below!

Thank you,

Katie, Gracie, and Echo

  1. My cats love raw goat’s milk! They will lick the bowl clean every time I give it to them. Many times I will add it to their food. I love the probiotic properties of it. Another great thing is that goat’s milk is much lower in lactose than cow’s milk, which makes it far easier for cats to digest (cats are often lactose intolerant).

  2. This is the first I’m hearing of raw goat’s milk for dogs. Sounds like even Red would be able to drink this, have to check with my vet!

  3. I try to support locals all the time, I have never tried goats milk with Layla but have given her which has probiotics is organic Labane – which is a Lebanese creamy type cheese and she loves it

  4. I agree about supporting small and local business! We have not tried raw diets for our pets but I have thought about it. I worry due to Lyla being older, as well as one of our cats. A big change to their diet now could perhaps not be a good idea. I will talk to our vet about this though. We do have access to local goat milk. Thanks for the idea!

  5. I have not tried goat’s milk with the FiveSibes…I will have to give it a shot! I like that it has the honey & cinnamon as I like to give my Huskies natural anti-inflammatory ingredients, especially now that a few of them are starting with arthritis. Thanks for the great review!

  6. I am a big fan of goats milk, we get our soaps from a local artisan. The Goldens have never had goat milk, only water. This is something that we are interested in trying, great info!
